PENANG, 19 JANUARY 2024 – After recently launching the RT2, today WMOTO Malaysia once again launched the latest 150cc scooter model, the RT1. The launch of this new model adds to the collection in the RT series after RT2 and also RT3. With three optional colours, Enchanting Blue, Mystique Black and Dazzling Grey, the WMOTO RT1 is sold at a starting price of only RM9,888.00, excluding insurance and road tax.

Using a 149.3cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, it is capable of producing a maximum power of 11.5Kw at 8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 14.5Nm at 6,750rpm. With exciting features, this model must be able to satisfy the tastes and desires of scooter fans.

The WMOTO RT1 features its exclusive value when using the Traction Control System (TCS) and a TFT-type meter panel, making this model the first 150cc scooter equipped with this system and feature. The TCS system works well to ensure the rider’s safety, preventing the motorcycle tire from slipping, especially on slippery roads due to rain.

There is also an Anti-Lock Brake system (ABS) to increase the extra level of safety on this latest WMOTO model. WMOTO RT1 uses a whole LED lighting system on the front and rear lights and has a sharp design that makes it look neater.

Like RT2 and RT3, this model comes with a front dashboard camera with a quality as high as 1080p, which allows riders to record their journey more clearly. In addition, this scooter uses an intelligent key system that is easy to use to turn the engine on and off.

Adding more neat features to this scooter, the WMOTO RT1 is also fitted with an anti-slip pad on the footrest and aluminum-coated passenger pedals. Under the seat, ample storage space is equipped with LED lights that help illuminate the storage space, especially when the atmosphere is dark. Complementing the perfection is a stylish windshield.
